How it started
Their journey began with an idea ignited at a Charlotte Touchdown Club event featuring Brett Favre. Jeff and Jim envisioned a group dedicated to advancing the construction industry. In November 2019, they convened about 20 like-minded individuals at Triple Wing for their first meeting. Despite COVID-19 challenges, they grew their membership, partnered with Pat's Place in their first year, donating $2,500.
In their second year, they refined their mission, partnered with The Charlotte Tool Bank, and engaged in on-site service projects. Maureen from The Charlotte Tool Bank provided invaluable guidance. By year three, they embarked on impactful initiatives: enhancing The ROC's Northside campus, achieving 501(c)(3) status, and hosting a successful fundraiser raising over $50,000. Their journey, born from inspiration, has become a powerful force for change.
